GateManager
The GateManager™ is the central component of Secomea's RDM solutions. The GateManager™ acts as a central point of contact and enables secure access to remote equipment and networks. It is normally installed on a dedicated server at a central management location. All connections terminate here and all device data is stored in a central database. It provides centralized administration of access, authentication and authorizations for increased remote service capabilities. Through web-services, the solution can be easily integrated with a wide range of back-end applications to the GateManager (ERP, management systems etc.)
GateManager Console
With our solutions we offer user-friendly Console software for interacting with the system, which includes following features:
- Organize devices and users into a logical domain structure. Only devices attached to a domain can be access by the users of the system.
- Create and manage user accounts and associated access rights.
- One-click Go-to-Appliance for direct access the device's native user interface.
- General status information on the Console
- Alerts and scheduled reports
- Bulk management of firmware and configurations.
- Reports on-the-fly
LinkManager
With Secomea's LinkManager installed on the Field Engineer PC, any of the devices attached to the GateManager is just a few mouse-clicks away. Once the PC is attached to a device, you can access and manage the device just as if your PC was connected directly to the device - using the device's own IP address.
SiteManager
Secomea’s SiteManager installs on or near the products to be managed, and has a persistent connection to the GateManager™. Our off-the-shelf SiteManagers have configurable agents which have 3 fundamental purposes:
- Provide instant access to the native interface of the product or device (such as HTTP web browser, telnet or VNC)
- Regular monitoring of device health and status
- Facilitate management services (i.e. configuration upgrade/backup, software updates and retrieval of logdata)
