
You must obtain an RMA TICKET before shipping any product
This description is based on Secomea’s one year hardware warranty, which provides remedy of defects in materials, design, and workmanship through free repair or replacement of the product. The one year warranty period starts from the date of delivery to the distributor or reseller. The distributer/reseller has responsiblity for issuing and fulfilling warranties given to their customers. You can find more details about our Warranty service at the end of this page.
The RMA TICKET request form below must be filled in to handle any products being returned to Secomea. Fill in the form and click "Send" to sent it to us.
In response, you will receive a RMA TICKET (pdf-format) which you must print out and complete by filling in the blank fields. You can now ship the product to Secomea in the original or otherwise suitable packaging, including the completed return letter and proof of purchase (for example the invoice).
NOTE: All product returns must be handled through an authorised Secomea distributor or reseller. As part of the Secomea Warranty Service Program, Secomea offers to handle the logistics part of the RMA request directly with the final customer. All documentation will, however, always be issued through the authorised point-of-purchase distributor/reseller.
Replacement of Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) products: Repair outside the warranty period can be offered at hour price, currently EUR 170. V.A.T. and spare parts excluded, - or according to quotation. Repair outside the warranty period is offered according to regulations mandatory by EU law.
Definitions and Terms for Warranty Service
DOA-products are defined as products which fail the first time they are switched on. This must happen within the first 30 days from the date of invoice from the authorised distributor/reseller; otherwise the problem will be handled as a standard warranty repair. Return the defective product to Secomea, using the standard RMA procedure. A replacement product can be ordered immediately from the authorised distributor/reseller.
Repair or replacement in the warranty period:
Defective products are defined as products which fail within a a period of one year after date of purchase from the authorised distributor/reseller. Such defective products may be repaired free of change. Return the defective product to Secomea, using the standard RMA procedure above. The repair time is approximately 5 working days after the receipt of the defective product at Secomea's service center (in Denmark).
Manufacturer's limited warranty:
This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear; - defects or damage due to faulty installation or operation; - defects or damage due to rough handling, being dropped, negligence or lack of reasonable care, exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions, or to rapid changes in such conditions, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to lightning; - defects or damage due to natural disasters; wars, riots or other major upheavals; - or performance failures of parties outside Secomea's control. This warranty is not enforceable if the product has been subject to any kind of tampering, modification, or alteration; or unauthorised repair; or if identifying information (model or serial number, etc) has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed.
Manufacturer's limited liability:
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Secomea's liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the Product. To the extent permitted by applicable law(s) Secomea A/S disclaims any liability for damages arising from the use of this product or any other damages, including (though not limited to) lost profits or data, special, incidental, or other claims, even if Secomea has been specifically advised of the possibility of such claims. The above limitations shall not apply in case of gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Secomea or in case of death or personal injury resulting from Secomea's proven negligence. This Limited Warranty shall neither exclude nor limit i) any of your legal (statutory) rights under the applicable national laws or ii) any of your rights against the seller of the product.Repair outside the warranty period
