GateManager™ is the central component of Secomea’s Industry solution. The GateManager M2M Server operates as a termination point for all LinkManagers and SiteManagers. All connections and the encrypted traffic between LinkManagers and devices controlled by SiteManagers are handled by the GateManager where also all events are logged.

The GateManager is typically offered as a service hosted by Secomea. You will receive an isolated domain on the GateManager and benefit from central hosting and back-up by Secomea. You can, however, choose to host your own GateManager.

GateManager hosted at Secomea

When buying a START PACKAGE, you get a FREE GateManager administrator account on a Secomea hosted server, or on a hosted server at one of Secomea's International distributors. With the FREE account you can connect up to 100 SiteManagers, install two LinkManager floating licenses and create an unlimited number of LinkManager user accounts.

The Secomea server farm are located in Denmark at a 1GB Internet connection and ensures you an up time of 99,6%: This is achieved but the following measures:

The Secomea hosting center is fully virtualized based on ESXi and SAN backbone controlled by V-Motion.
Battery and generator power backup on all equipment.
INERGEN based cooling and fire extinguishing infrastructure.
"Building in building" site fencing with alarms and immediate guard notification, and access by card and iris scan.
1 Gbps fiber ring directly to the Danish Internet eXhange point (DIX).
Hosting center has a 100% Green Profile, according to RECS International (Renewable Energy Certificate System) where all Wh originate from either Danish wind turbines or Norwegian hydroelectric power stations.
Server IP addresses are fully controlled by Secomea as a registered RIPE member.

Your own Hardware GateManager (4250)

The GateManager 4250 is a powerful shrink-wrap GateManager delivered ready to go. It is ideal for any installation for any size machine builder that wants to be in full control and wants the benefits of a hardened platform.

GateManager 4250 has the exact same features as the Software based GateManager and has the following hardware specs:

Your own Software GateManager (8250)

You can easily migrate your account from a hosted GateManager server to your own private server model 8250. The GateManager 8250 is delivered as a platform independent virtual image ready to run in a VMWare, ESXi or HyperV virtualized environment.

The GateManager requires just 64GB of disk storage, 1GB of memory and min. 128KB/s bandwidth. And with a fixed public IP address with a few ports forwarded to the GateManager you are ready to run your very own installation.

This product is primarily intended for OEMs with strict IT policies, such as manufacturers of medical equipment, or for companies that do not want to be dependant of a 3rd party cloud service.
